Going home going home going HOME GOING HOME GOING HOME G O I N G H O M E
I leave this godforsaken place Wednesday at 11 AM. Got the Bad Things result, it is as good as it's gonna get, I am OUT OF HERE. My twin was like "can you stay until Friday? I have a couple of dates." NOPE TOO BAD SEEYA AT CHRISTMAS
It is finally "warm" here and the kiddo is running around outside in her underwear cuddling chickens and trying to put frogs on the trampoline. I'm still in three layers, including the sweatervest. Fuck this place. It's like spring never came to Narnia but everyone kept pretending it did.
My room might be grouted by the time I get back, but will still be a reeking wasteland, so I will be on the couch or in the furniture-cluttered guest room. At least it's home. I will have cats and tasty food and warmth and family and internet and water pressure and real toilet paper and civilization and dime carts and my sewing room and all my stuff and AN APPOINTMENT WITH AN OPTOMETRIST. I have survived for a goddamn month on three books and a small stash of noodles and bread. I am so ready to get back to my real life.
